The expansion of mutual cooperation with Poland’s national carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, and increasing the tourist attractiveness were discussed during a meeting between the Chairman of the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan (ATAA), Goydeniz Gahramanov, and a delegation led by Ponczek Lukasz, the Regional Revenue Management Manager of LOT Polish Airlines.
During the meeting, Goydeniz Gahramanov provided the representatives of LOT Airlines with detailed information about the Association’s role in the development of the country’s tourism sector, as well as the service areas of its member companies. The ATAA Chairman emphasized that LOT Polish Airlines’ active participation in the regional market is commendable and noted that this collaboration contributes to strengthening tourism exchange between Azerbaijan and Poland.
In turn, the LOT representatives emphasized that Azerbaijan is an important and significant destination for the airline. They expressed their interest in increasing the potential for further expanding relations in this direction.
The meeting discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation opportunities, improving the efficiency of flights, preparing special offers for member companies, expanding cooperation, and developing joint projects to increase tourist appeal.
It is worth noting that since May 2022, LOT Polish Airlines has been operating flights on the Warsaw-Baku-Warsaw route four times a week.
