ATAA Expands Tourism Cooperation with South Korea

The possibilities for expanding bilateral relations with South Korea’s tourism-oriented organizations and tourism associations were discussed between the Chairman of the Association of Travel Agences of Azerbaijan  (ATAA), Goydeniz Gahramanov, and the Chargé d’Affaires of South Korea to Azerbaijan, Changsoo Kim.

During the meeting, Goydeniz Gahramanov first provided the official representative with information about the activities and service areas of the Association. He stated that developing tourism cooperation with South Korea is one of the areas of interest for the Association. The ATAA Chairman emphasized that continuously strengthening tourism relations and organizing reciprocal visits to attract more tourists is crucial for the Association.

Changsoo Kim, the Chargé d’Affaires of South Korea to Azerbaijan, mentioned that Azerbaijan possesses a rich cultural heritage and stunning nature, and has developed modern tourism infrastructure. He stressed the importance of forming mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism sector and highlighted the significance of increasing tourist flows.

During the discussions, the expansion of communication links with ATAA members, the exchange of experiences between tourism agencies, the organization of direct flights, and the implementation of B2B meetings and presentations aimed at further enhancing tourism potential were all discussed.
