Opportunities for expanding cooperation aimed at developing the tourism sector through air travel were discussed during a business meeting between Gokdeniz Gahramanov, Chairman of the Association of Travel Agencies of Azerbaijan, and Karsten Zang, General Manager Sales at Lufthansa Group
During the meeting, Gokdeniz Gahramanov, provided Karsten Zang with detailed information about the Association, including the principles of operation of its committees and commissions, as well as the role of member companies in the development of the tourism market. The Chairman of the Association emphasized that establishing cooperation with Lufthansa Airlines, one of the world’s leading airlines, would have a positive impact on mutual tourist flows and provide travelers with access to comfortable and high-quality travel opportunities.
Karsten Zang stated that Azerbaijan is an attractive destination for Lufthansa Group, highlighting the country’s vast tourism potential and the mutual benefits of cooperation. He also expressed the possibility of implementing new projects and exchanging experiences within the framework of collaboration in the future.
During the meeting, both parties underscored the importance of continuing active discussions to take joint steps toward tourism development.
It should be noted that Lufthansa Airlines currently operates flights on the Frankfurt am Main-Baku-Frankfurt am Main route four times a week. However, starting in May, these flights will be operated daily.”
